Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Penlytic (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides professional cybersecurity and penetration testing services that are customized, time-bound, and resource-intensive. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may or may not be issued.

1. General Policy

Due to the nature of cybersecurity and penetration testing services, all fees are generally non-refundable once an engagement has commenced. Services involve advance planning, allocation of specialized personnel, and preparation activities that cannot be reversed.

2. Pre-Engagement Cancellations

If a client cancels an engagement before any work has started, Penlytic may issue a full or partial refund at its discretion, minus any administrative or preparatory costs already incurred.

3. Engagement in Progress

Once an engagement has started, including scoping, reconnaissance, testing, analysis, or reporting activities, no refunds will be provided for completed or partially completed services.

4. Failure to Deliver Services

If Penlytic is unable to deliver the agreed services due to internal reasons solely attributable to Penlytic, the client may be eligible for a partial or full refund proportional to the services not delivered.

5. Client-Caused Delays or Limitations

No refunds will be issued if services cannot be completed due to factors outside Penlytic’s control, including but not limited to:

  • Failure to provide required access, credentials, or documentation

  • Inaccurate or incomplete scope definition

  • Changes to scope during the engagement

  • System unavailability or client-side restrictions

6. Dissatisfaction With Results

Penetration testing outcomes depend on system configurations, scope, and real-world security conditions. Refunds will not be granted based on dissatisfaction with findings, number of vulnerabilities discovered, or perceived severity of results.

7. Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact Penlytic directly to resolve any billing or service concerns. Initiating chargebacks or payment disputes without prior communication may result in immediate service suspension and termination of the engagement.

8. Exceptions

Any exceptions to this Refund Policy must be agreed upon in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Penlytic.

9. Policy Changes

Penlytic reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.
